Submitting content to FansDB

There are several types of content that can be submitted to FansDB.

There are also several methods for submitting content. Some require Stash application1 others can be done directly from the FansDB site or both.

Performers

Warning

All performer submissions have to meet FansDB guidelines and minimum required information threshold.

Via Stash application

  1. Open your local Stash.
  2. Go to Performers page.
  3. Open performer profile you want to submit.
  4. Click Submit to Stash-Box and select FansDB as a stash-box endpoint.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Now go to https://fansdb.cc and click on Drafts.
  7. Click on Performer addition: <performer name> link.
  8. Check over the pre-filled details and look if there is any unmatched data.

    Info

    The data between Stash and FansDB has to be translated due to different database structure, so not all data fields are supported to be automatically translated and pre-filled.

    Add all unmatched URLs

    You can add unmatched URLs with a single click by using a userscript. With the userscript installed you will see add urls button next the unmatched URLs section to add all approved matching links automatically. You might need to refresh the page to see the button. Huge time saver.

  9. Fill in the the unmatched data.

  10. Go to Confirm tab and leave a comment that explains where your details are coming from.
  11. Click Submit Edit.

Via FansDB site

  1. Go to https://fansdb.cc and click on Performers.
  2. Look for Create button and click it.
  3. Fill in all the details you have in Personal Information, Tattoos and Piercings, Links and Images tabs.
  4. Go to Confirm tab and leave a comment that explains where your details are coming from.
  5. Click Submit Edit.

Scenes

Warning

All scene submissions have to meet FansDB guidelines and minimum required information threshold.

Prerequisite: Enable perceptual hashes (pHash)

  1. Go to Settings > Tasks.
  2. Under Library heading you will find configuration options for Scan task and Generate task.
  3. Enable Generate perceptual hashes under Scan heading.
  4. Enable Perceptual hashes under Generate heading.

Scan task and its options are applied when the content is being added to the database the first time.

Generate task and its options are applied when you want to generate additional things for content that is already in your database.

Via Stash application

  1. Open your local Stash.
  2. Go to Scenes page.
  3. Open scene you want to submit.
  4. Click and select Submit to Stash-Box.
  5. Select FansDB as a stash-box endpoint.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Now go to https://fansdb.cc and click on Drafts.
  8. Click on Scene addition: <scene name> link.
  9. Check over the pre-filled details and look if there is any unmatched data.
  10. Fill in the the unmatched data.
  11. Go to Confirm tab and leave a comment that explains where your details are coming from.
  12. Click Submit Edit.

Via FansDB site

Info

It is not possible to submit a scene via the site because FansDB requires a perceptual hash (pHash) as part of the minimum details.

Studios

Warning

All studio submissions have to meet FansDB guidelines and minimum required information threshold.

Via FansDB site

  1. Go to https://fansdb.cc and click on Studios.
  2. Look for Create button and click it.
  3. Fill in all the required details in Details and Links tabs. Add optional image in Images tab.
  4. Go to Confirm tab and leave a comment that explains where your details are coming from.
  5. Click Submit Edit.

Tags

Warning

All tag submissions have to meet FansDB guidelines and minimum required information threshold.

Via FansDB site

  1. Go to https://fansdb.cc and click on Tags.
  2. Look for Create button and click it.
  3. Fill in all the details according the the naming structure of FansDB.
  4. Leave a comment that explains where your details are coming from.
  5. Click Submit Edit.
